Making Zoodles with a KitchenAid Spiralizer
I cannot begin to tell you how many failed attempts I’ve made in learning how to make zoodles. It took MANY failed attempts to learn how to spiralize zucchini. However, when you get a zucchini to spiralize just right, you can utilize so much of the plant!
Zucchini
One of my favorite garden staples is zucchini. I know it’s not everyone’s favorite (I mean, after all, it is a squash), but I just love that you can make zoodles, grill it, and bake it! There aren’t too many garden items that you can make savory and sweet items, but I’ve found that you can do this with zucchini.
Harvesting Now: Broccoli
Well, let me tell you that my first experience with fresh grown broccoli was a little different than buying it at the grocery store. Apparently, worms LOVE broccoli, and the broccoli worms look a LOT like the little green stems. Some people don’t mind worms, but I really don’t like them—especially when they are in my food.
